Ultrasound in the hands of an Extended Scope Physiotherapist (ESP)
Clinicians are increasingly interested in diagnostic ultrasound at the point of care. Those with appropriate training in musculoskeletal ultrasound are perfectly placed to embrace diagnostic ultrasound in their clinical environments. This seminar will briefly discuss how ultrasound could add value to a clinical consultation. It will also indicate the limitations and cautions of diagnostic ultrasound in a clinical environment. There will be a practical demonstration on basic scanning skills.
