Rachel Barrett CAT ACCA
Rachel is an Associate Director at Duncan & Toplis and jointly heads up the D&T ONLINE cloud accounting service for the practice.
Businesses Rachel works with describe her as an accountant who is friendly and approachable, and makes often complex topics easy to understand. This is something she is very passionate about as she believes that business owners must have that in depth understanding of their finances and cash flow to give them the confidence to grow or achieve other objectives. She’s also a firm believer in relieving admin burdens and unnecessary paperwork.
As well as her role in practice, Rachel is part-owner of her sister’s hair salon. This has given her first-hand experience from ‘the other side of the fence’ to give her a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by businesses.
Outside of these roles, Rachel has a teenage daughter who she likes to go on roller coasters at Alton Towers with, and in any spare time enjoys the company of a good book!
